Hotel d'Hane Steenhuyse is a hidden heritage icon located in the historical heart of Ghent. Known to only a few, the rococo street façade and classicist garden façade form a unique ensemble. In the richly finished interior with elaborate wainscoting, sumptuous draperies and artful parquet, the grandeur of the ballroom certainly catches the eye.

The assignment includes a management and masterplan for the site and a phased restoration with design interventions. We are working with a broad team of experts to devise the correct design approach to this complex building. To sustain the future of the building, this city palace will be regularly open to the public to increase its profile.
