B is looking for an enthusiastic all-round administrative officer to strengthen our team in Antwerp. As an administrative all-rounder, you play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth day-to-day operation of our office. You will be responsible for a broad range of tasks, from invoicing to office management — and everything in between.

You provide general administrative and financial support, including:

• Updating invoice lists and following up payments for our various entities
• Preparing invoices and credit notes
• Processing incoming invoices and preparing payments
• Supporting the accountant (including booking invoices for different subsidiary companies)
• Managing payroll administration and personnel records
• Providing administrative support to various departments (including SME portfolio, Check-in-at-Work, address database, calendar management, post handling, etc.)
• Co-managing several general mailboxes
• Supporting general office management where required

• You hold a professional bachelor’s degree, preferably in an administrative field (e.g. business management), or equivalent through experience
• You have demonstrable experience in an administrative role, ideally within a comparable working environment
• You are well organised, accurate and detail-oriented
• You communicate confidently, both verbally and in writing, in Dutch and English. Basic knowledge of French is required
• Familiarity with accounting and invoicing processes is an asset
• You are proficient in Microsoft Office and other relevant software applications
• You work proactively and independently and are comfortable managing multiple tasks simultaneously
• You are flexible and thrive in a dynamic environment with diverse teams

While the majority of our B-juxta architects are based in Ghent, we welcome applications from architects who wish to be based in Antwerp or Brussels. You will be working on high-quality architectural projects ranging in scale from 2,000 m² to 20,000 m².

• Oversee a variety of projects from the design phase through to construction completion
• Coordinate and communicate effectively with clients and contractors
• Lead a small project team (2–3 colleagues), ensuring smooth communication, efficient planning and budget control throughout

• Qualified architect or architect-engineer with a strong affinity for high-quality architectural work
• Strong design skills and a genuine passion for architecture and restoration
• Keen to help shape B-juxta in dialogue with fellow B-teams, building bridges across disciplines and projects
• A background or qualification in heritage conservation is an asset (or equivalent experience)
• Minimum of 5 years’ relevant experience
